A Gentle Way to Bring Comfort, Color & Meaning Back Into Daily Life

Hummingbirds have long been seen as messengers of hope — reminders that love, memory, and resilience can appear in soft, unexpected ways. For many people, healing doesn't happen through grand gestures. It happens through small, steady moments of beauty that make the heart feel less heavy.

Graddi™ SpiritWing was created for exactly that purpose.

While most décor simply hangs in a room, SpiritWing changes the room the moment sunlight touches it. Soft greens, pinks, blues, and warm floral tones bloom across your walls, turning simple morning light into a tender, uplifting ritual.

Why You'll Love It

A Small Moment of Light That Feels Emotionally Restorative

SpiritWing's hummingbirds are more than decoration. They represent renewal, the persistence of love, and the sense that someone you miss is still close. When sunlight passes through, the soft colors they cast can ease emotional heaviness and bring a gentle sense of peace to your mornings.

High-Definition Printing for Vivid, Living Color

Each SpiritWing is crafted using multi-layer pigment printing on crystal-clear acrylic. This creates rich, radiant colors that glow like stained glass without the fragility. The hues stay bright even in direct sun, creating lasting moments of beauty day after day.

Durable, Eco-Friendly, and Safe for Every Home

For someone grieving, healing, or moving through a difficult chapter, SpiritWing offers a message that feels warm, heartfelt, and deeply personal. Gifting SpiritWing is like saying: "You are loved. You are not alone. Light still finds its way to you."

FAQ

You'll still get the effect, just softer. Even on overcast days or with indirect light, the colors show up—they're just more subtle, like watercolors instead of bold strokes. Some customers actually prefer it that way. The suncatcher looks beautiful even without light, but any natural light will bring out some color.

Acrylic is much more forgiving than glass—it won't warp, crack, or get damaged by occasional steam or humidity. That said, if you're hanging it directly above a steaming shower or right over a boiling pot, the constant moisture might affect the adhesive or hanging mechanism over time. A kitchen window near the sink? Perfectly fine. A bathroom window with good ventilation? Great. Just avoid spots where it's getting blasted with steam daily.

Acrylic is basically shatterproof—unlike stained glass, it won't break into dangerous pieces if it falls. If your kids yank it down, worst case is it hits the floor and maybe gets a scratch. That said, it's not a toy, and little hands with sticky fingers will leave prints that dull the effect. Our suggestion: hang it high enough that toddlers can't reach it, but where they can still see the colors dance on the walls.

If you have multiple windows with good light, having 2-3 throughout your home can actually create a really lovely effect—like little pockets of color in different rooms at different times of day. Morning light in the bedroom, afternoon light in the living room, evening light in the kitchen. However, putting multiple in the same window might feel busy. One per room or one per window is the sweet spot

The UV-resistant inks are designed for prolonged sun exposure—that's literally what suncatchers are made for. We've had customers with theirs hanging in south-facing windows for over a year with no noticeable fading. That said, nothing lasts forever in direct blazing sun 8 hours a day, but you're looking at years, not months.

Hard times are hard times, whether it's grief, divorce, illness, burnout, loneliness, or just feeling lost. You don't need to qualify your struggle to deserve something that brings you comfort. The hummingbird symbolizes resilience and renewal, not just remembrance. If you're waking up every day and pushing through something difficult, you deserve soft mornings and reminders that light still exists. You're allowed to give yourself that. No explanation needed.

Dust and fingerprints will accumulate—that's just life. To clean it, take it down and use a soft, damp microfiber cloth with mild soap if needed. Wipe gently; don't scrub aggressively. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or paper towels (they can scratch acrylic). Pat dry with a soft cloth. The colors are sealed into the acrylic, so gentle cleaning won't damage them. Do this every few months or whenever you notice it's looking dull.
