One Of The Best Things I Ever Bought

One of the best things I ever bought, I bought 2 more and use 1 daily for the last 2 months (used it intermittently before that) to pump about 10 gallons of water each day. I used it originally to pump oil out and into rain lamps I was rebuilding and it worked fantastic so I am deliriously happy but even though I love mine these things are build cheap and so don't drop them or bang them around. Mine has worked fine every time I have needed it (other 2 are still in the box) , If I had paid more for it I might give it 4 Stars but at this price for the work it has done it is a 5 Star deal for me.

I like the fact that this pump has a end that can be dropped into the container.

I like the fact that this pump has end that can be dropped into the container. This pump works well to get all but a few ounces out of the gas container. The flexible suction end can be tilted into the corner of the can to get most of the gas out. It’s long enough to reach to the bottom of an upright tall gas container or a wide shorter square one. It pumps even faster than some of their other models. I used a length of clear tubing to slide over the suction end of this pump, which allowed me to reach the bottom of this three and a half foot high fuel caddy. This battery powered fuel pump saved me from having to crank the hand pump on the caddy to refuel my vehicle . I was able to get all but a couple inches of fuel out of the 30 gallon caddy. This pump was strong enough to raise the fuel through the tubing and the lines by several feet. The pump is easy to use.

Works just as described

I have a few gas cans I use around for lawn equipment and after filling generator a few times after hurricane Ian it was almost I'm possible filling up generator without spilling gas, even while using a funnel. Idecided on purchasing this pump after looking at several reviews and it worked like it should!! Emptied 5 gallon gas can in less than 2 MINUTES!! Oh, and i didnt need to have the can at the same level as the gas tank. This worked with with can on ground and nozzle about 4ft high. Thoroughly impressed. Will recommend this purchase.

Very practical product.

I use this pump on my new 5 gal gas can. It's one of those new "safety" cans I guess the governments was to 'protect us from ourselves'.....what a joke. You need at least 3 hands to get gas out of the can, then it barely trickles out. I thought I would try the pump I saw on youtube. I said this is for me, if only it works as good for me as it does on the video...and guess what....it DID. I installed the batteries, put the hose in the new gas can, screwed on the button and it pumped the gas just like it the video. I told 2 of my neighbors about it and they were also impressed and thinking about ordering it. I thought, if it's going to keep working like it does now and don't give me any trouble, it will be well worth it.
Sure beats lifting a 5 gal can up to the tank on my rider and trying to get the gas to come out of that so-called safety spout.

I Love This Thing

I wanted to store some gasoline over the winter for my snowblower and car just in case there was some sort of emergency with the grid down and no way to get gas for my car or the snowblower. After storing the gas for nearly two years, and yes, I treated it with Sta-bil, I wanted to use the gas and get replace it with fresh gas. It has become a burden to lift a 5 gallon plastic can of gas and hold it while emptying it into the gas tank of my car. I took a chance and ordered one of these pumps and liked it so much that I immediately ordered another one as back-up. It uses either batteries to run, and it is so easy to park my car next to my shed or lift the gas can a foot off the ground onto a sturdy box, etc. and use this pump to get the gas from the can to my car. I actually bought a 3rd one to use for water storage and marked on each pump using Magic Marker which ones were used for gas and the one for water. Instead of having to lift a heavy 5 gallon water jug to empty it, I use the 3rd pump like the one used for gas and transfer the 1 year old water in stages into another container about 2 gallons at a time and use the water to water plants. I never want to be without these pumps because they lift the burden of lugging, lifting and holding the full containers of gas and water and make the whole process of emptying and refilling SO much easier.
