It is keeping my son's Ram truck charged while not in use. It is easy to hook up/simple directions. I have an outdoor extension cord running to it and dropped the plug down through the engine compartment so it can stay charging in the driveway without notice from the street. I looped the cord and hung it on a coat hanger under the chassis so it does not get wet in rain. So far it is enabling the truck to start each week when I check it.

We have cold winters in Chicago, and I use it to maintain the battery on a vehicle I store in the winter. It keeps the battery on a full 12V Charge, and shuts off when fully charged, and comes back on if the battery falls below the 12V Threshold. I just keep it hooked up. I only take it off to start and let the car run for half an hour twice a week, then hook it back up, when finished. Easy Peasy. As far as the products longevity is concerned, that remains to be seen, but I will check back in with an update 6 months from now. I am very pleased with the quality for the price point, and would recommend it to anyone.

People seem to think this is going to revive your dead battery, its not going to. Its to prevent your battery from dying in the first place. Put this on your battery while youre not driving your car for a long period of time, especially in cold weather and you will get a long life span out of your battery. This is not a miracle worker. Its not going to bring a sulfated battery back to life. But it does wonders as a maintainer. Would recommend.
