The side of our house doesn't get much sun because of our house and tons of tall trees. We also don't really have any place to mount lights. I put one light on a stake in the front corner and one stake on the edge of the shed. I just want to see my black dogs when we go out at night. It's winter. We've had the lights for a few months now. Even on overcast days the lights will come on when the dogs go out there. Occasionally they come on without the dogs. I assume that's a rabbit or mouse. They come on at 2a.m. so they're very reliable for me. I have them set for bright but only to stay on while there's motion. I wasn't expecting them to work because of the trees and especially in the winter but they're great.

It's rained a few times and last night it rained hard. It works very well. I had it placed next to my garden and the leaves were blowing hard over it so it triggered the motion censor a lot. I decided to use the remote control it came with and wow, it just turned off remotely. I liked that. I was surprised but quite pleased with the product. I've been able to catch the sight of a moving skunk because of this device. My house stunk but at least I can see where the critter was so I don't alarm it. It went away. This light has been useful. I hope it keeps on working. So far after about 2 month of trial, it appears to work quite well. And yes, lights are quite bright.

We had what we believed was a bobcat deficating in our pool and on the pool decking. It happened six times over a two week period. The motion detecting light installed on a pergola stopped the behavior. I had never heard of nor seen this before. No dog could jump the wall nor would a coyote have reason to enter the pool area. And the skat was definatly not coyote or hoot-owl. We had seen the bobcat several times before as he/she decimated a quail family living in the pool area few months before.it saved my house.

Based on other reviews we’ll see how it holds up over time, but so far they are great. Very bright, lightweight, and solar/motion functions work well. Make sure you let them charge in the off setting in the sun for a full day before turning them on. I bought a separate mount to mount them on the eave/gutter without having to drill into the brick so that I can move them around easily. Would recommend these lights!

I bought these lights a few months ago to try out before purchasing more.
I have several motion activated solar flood lights on my property for safety & security and have tried different brands.
These lights are bright, dependable and are half the price of what I paid for one of the others I purchased to get one!
In short, I’m very impressed with these flood lights. I mount them on fence posts around the property and after using these for a few months decided these are the winner so I’m back to purchase more!
