Really cool item to have. Comes with different sets of magnifiers, great if you’re trying to read or if you’re working on a small mechanical item. I tried soldering something small and it did work at some point. This is a good general purpose headset for hobby use. The range of lenses is great and optical quality great for plastic lenses. Overall I’d recommend for hobby use .Good quality product

I repair antique clocks for a hobby and have been using a cheap 12.95 head visor magnifier for the last few years and it is lousy. Have to keep tightening a knob on the back, etc. Just a pain to use. The design of this item. however, is awesome and well-made in every regard. Interchangeable magnifiers easily changed, good built-in light, lightweight, don't slip off your head and I like the option of the strap around the back or the earpieces like regular glasses have. Sometimes I wear glasses in addition to this magnifier. The nose bridge is comfortable and gives solid support for the unit. For the amateur hobbyist this Magnifying Glass set is a definite 5 star.

I have gotten to that point in my life where I am having trouble reading the small print. My parents warned me about it, but I thought “no way i'll be able to see forever !!!!!” so sometimes even with my super strong reading glasses on, I am unable to read some of the smallest print. When I saw this with the light and multiple strength lenses, I smashed the order button so fast my eyes didn't see it happen… honestly i feel a bit goofy when i have them on, but it does allow me to see some of the smallest print and replacing those tiny screws like what is in the arm of the reading glasses(which BTW you need the glasses your are working on to see what you are doing) the set comes with a headband or eyeglass arms for how ever you lie to use them. Then there is a case with 5 strengths of glasses, which help anyone to see better (my number is glass 4 and with the arms over the band. So far I have been able to fix many things that I have not been able to see to fix!!!!

Battery life for the LED is awesome and the magnification was just enough for my personal hobbies. Was using a soldering station magnifier before and this product really helped out instead of being hunched over trying to get a good view. Made making details on my hobby of making custom keychains chill and less time consuming because I had the view when and where I needed it at anytime.

I got this for a friend that's losing his sight. These are amazing! He does wish the light could go a step brighter and the magnifying lenses went up to 5 or even 10. However, thanks to these he can read again and do some of the small detail things he couldn't anymore. I would highly recommend these to anyone. So easy to use my 8 year old granddaughter has used them without help. The hard case that come with them fits everything perfectly without having to play tetris with the parts.
