I bought one to give this little fan a try. I saw how much air it moved setting on my wood stove that I went back and ordered another one. Pointed them in different directions and man you sure can tell a difference. The room warmed up so much better. Wood stove sets in my basement and my upstairs is around 1600 sq feet. I could sure tell a difference with the amount of heat that these fans helped heat my upstairs.

Stove Fan arrived promptly and well-packaged. No assembly required and worked right out of the box. Simply place the fan on top of your stove and once the heat is high enough, the fan blades begin to spin fast and surprisingly silently. In my home, you’ll hear the TV but not the fan! I think this fan is a perfect solution for getting the heated air to circulate into the room rather than get trapped above the stove.

This fan seems great, I bought it to use with my Portable Buddy propane tent heater. With that heater the heat generally just goes straight up, so when camping in winter I wanted to heat the whole tent better. I cut a small notch in the base so it slides onto and locks on top of the heater where the heat rises. On low, it takes about 1-2 minutes for the metal to heat up and the fan to start spinning. Noticeable air movement, it definitely pushes the air out around 12-18 inches before it starts rising, I think the little bit of movement (and almost zero noise) is going to help a lot! I would definitely recommend this one.

Starts up before the stove is slightly warm. Somehow moves air all the way to the back bedrooms. I'm used to having 1 hot room and everything else warm-ish. Don't know how such a small fan can do this. Definitely a best buy. Plus I can now use about 1/4 less firewood but heat the whole house instead of just the livingroom. You will not regret this purchase.

If you have a wood burning stove like I have, this fan is a must have. You just put it on top of the stove and the hot air will move the fan blades and the heat will go much farther out into the room then if you didn't have it. It is whisper quiet and just works on its own. You don't have anything to plug in, just set it down and you are good to go. I would buy this again. In fact, I have two for the top of my stove.
