Sharp enough to carve with. Yes, initially it experienced very slight edge roll, but a couple of strokes with a diamond rod established a tiny secondary bevel that fixed that. It’s more effective than its size indicates. In my experience, the gossip stating nonsense about soft steel is just b.s. Maybe those spreading those rumors mistook a copy for the real thing. Maybe they’re just parroting what others have told them . I have and use one. It’s great. If they’re still on sale next week , I’ll buy another just to carve with. Totally satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this to keep in the camper for splitting starter wood. I normally go for cheaper brands and store brands but decided to spend a little more on something the requires a little more precision. I would've liked to get a little better price on this but I don't regret buying it, it is sharp! This thing is light enough it'll never wear you out but has just enough weight to it that I can normally get my splits done on the first swing. It's really comfortable in the hand, and still feels really solid after giving it a camping season of abuse.

I love this one, and this drill didn't disappoint. Weight distribution and fit in your hand is great being heavier at the head. I was surprised at just how sharp it is. Probably sharper than my razor. I have been able to trim branches and cut smaller trees in half with almost no effort. Just passing the hatchet over the branches sheers them right off! Get this over some no-name stuff, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this specifically for making kindling for my frequent camping trips. I wanted something small so it was easy to travel with and of good and sturdy quality for obvious safety reasons. I was happily surprised by the amazing ergonomics, shape is superb for swinging power! Worked amazing. I try to buy only high quality and well made items so I only have to buy them ONCE, so I was okay with the price. I'm hoping and am confident this nifty drill, with proper care on my part, will last a good 30 years! Will post an update then! Lol.

I bought this it Multi-Tool for my brother as a gift which I thought would be perfect for camping. What a great heavy duty well made tool. My brother was very pleased with the item and believed it would really come in handy during his outdoor ventures. It's not large but feels sturdy and it to be useful. I highly recommend this. In fact, I will probably buy a couple of more as gifts! :)
