Are you ever stuck outside watching your kids? Do you make them come in becase you are cold? Do you dread early morning soccer games because you know you will be freezing? This jacket has changed me as a mom. My body simply doesn't produce enough heat so I am cold everywhere I go. This vest makes it so that I can be just warm enough to not hate every minute of life that I am outside in the winter. I go from miserable to bearable with just the push of a button. I debated between a small and medium, and went with the small. I am glad i did. It is a little more snug than I would normally have a jacket, but it is great because it keeps the heat close to my body.

I love my heated vest!! Best invention ever!!! I always freeze when I go outside. Always have and I live in Minnesota but now that I’m getting older I’m freezing more. It’s my back that gets so tense when I’m freezing and the heating mechanism is right there in the back. It is form fitting. I bought it in a small which is what I usually wear. I am not a very chesty lady but I do have broad shoulders and which sometimes makes me go into a bigger size. You do want the vest or really any vest to be form fitting. I’ve tried a looser one and I prefer this one. Hope this helps who’s reading this good luck.

I wear the vest as an everyday extra layer and keep the battery pack in my purse in case I need it to charge my cell or to use the heated unit if I'm chilly. I've convinced my friends to get one for football games and fishing when it's cold. An absolute necessity when my husband takes me winter camping. It's not even winter anymore. But we were at an outdoor - still socially distant - party one evening recently. There was a fire pit and another heater, but wife was still chilly. (She gets chilly a lot.) Another woman at the party had one of these things. Finally, I found something where I could get a gift that probably wouldn't be the wrong thing. Even though it's spring now and this will only be used for a handful of cool evenings until autumn, it's already a huge winner.
She's perfectly happy with this size, wearing a lightweight fleece below it. Small might work too, but would be very snug.

I've worked in the OR for over 30 years and so many days were spent freezing ( indoor temps in low 50s). Not anymore. One battery charge gets me through my entire shift when It's on low. Cannot attest to how long the battery lasts on high because I have not needed it. So nice that the heating element placements cover all the bases: the neck, the lower back and lower front ( for when you put your hands in the pockets). Heats up immediately and very easy to adjust temp levels with button on front. I did not find the battery obtrusive at all like some others have. My co workers are so impressed several of them are ordering as well. I tried the jacket style but it was more like a parka and just too bulky for work. I'm 5 ft, 110 lbs and fit perfectly zipped up over scrubs. Will update review when I have to wash it to see how it holds up.
