Folks I've been using this tester for almost 2 years and it has never failed me. On batteries that were having problems it definitely diagnosed them as bad. I've never had a battery fail that it diagnosed as good. Not one friend or family member that I have used this tool to test their batteries has been led astray in two years and we're talking dozens of uses. Sure I may not be a commercial shop but I definitely value this tool and have used it a lot. I have owned cheap ones in the past that let me down but not this unit.

Bought this tool to have on hand just in case for quick diagnostics of the battery, starting, and charging system. This tool appears to be very well constructed and the buttons are firm which I like. I tested this out on 4 different cars with known good systems and all came back accurate. I took this to work and tested numerous battery cores with expected results. The tool is laid out well and the interface is very user friendly. The outer case is ruggedized and seems like it would hold up to standard wear and tear. The manual was written well with easy to understand instructions. Overall I am very happy with the purchase .

This really is a very nice item. When I took it out it actually looks like a OBD scanner. I hooked it up to one of my cars to play with. It's really not had to use , just really common sense. I never even looked at the instructions. It's really good quality, you will understand if you buy one . I even hooked it up on my riding lawnmower, seems very accurate. Has extremely long cables so you can sit in car and use and not pull on cables , needed anyway because you have to rev up and idle then repeat to check charging system. Now I got something, can check everything myself now. Buy one , I think you'll like it. Not a bad price either.

The important thing is to have the battery information before connecting it, and maybe that's the tedious part. Once connected it is easy to use for testing. It saved me from having to buy a new battery when I just had to put it in a charger. I recommend this product.

Bought this battery tester to find out the charge in my spare unused car batteries. The tester was easy to use. I clamped the terminals and the test was on. Setting the parameters was a no brainer and results was easy to read; no abbreviations nor codes. Extra long cords made it easy to test while sitting at the drivers seat; unlike the cheaper ones with the shorter cords where you were required to run back and forth. Glad I bought this tester.
