I had my doubts about buying an wireless Android Auto adapter, but this could not have been a better purchase. There is almost no setup to speak of. Have you ever paired a Bluetooth anything to your phone? Then you can set this up. Plug it in, pair, and that's literally it. It takes about as long to connect as it would for me to get my phone out of my pocket and plug it in. There's no discernable difference in sound quality.
If you have Android Auto and it's not wireless, you're doing yourself a disservice by not buying one of these.

I purchased this adapter because I was having issues with my phone staying connected to Android Auto via USB - I would bump the cord and lose connection. The adapter has been great! My car karaoke and audiobooks are no longer being interrupted! It's easy to install and connects to my phone fairly quickly. If you are having similar problems, I definitely recommend giving this a try.

Before getting this adapter my android auto would always cut out and restart or even worse, not restart. I would change cords every few months because I thought that was the problem. This adapter plugs in and connects to my phone automatically soon now. No cutting out. No cords needed. It's a total game changer. Can't live without it now. I attached it to my car with a black command Velcro strip and it's unnoticeable.

It does exactly what it says. I have a 2020 Honda ride, and it doesn't have wireless connection. Since I drove a much later model car as a rental, it had a wireless connection. I wanted the same for my car since I had to constantly physically connect it with a USB cable. The connection would constantly disconnect just from the slightest movement or if I had to reach the phone for other situations. I got fed up. After some curious searching, realized that you can wirelessly connect with these devices, I bought one, connected seamlessly, & I'm off to the races! So much better! If you can't get into a updated car yet, and have the proper USB connection in your current ride, get this especially if you're an Android user! Great product!

I purchased otherAndroid Auto Adapter and was experiencing issues here and there...not connecting from time to time...a bit finicky. So I decided to then purchase this one from this to see if I would experience the same intermittent issues. I've been using it for a while now and really haven't had any issues at all. In fact, I'm pretty certain it connects and this Android Auto fires up quicker than it did with other. Returned other and kept this one. Given the performance and price, I can certainly say I'm very pleased with this purchase. Now I have wireless AA set up and put a flat rectangular fast wireless charger in my center console...toss the phone on the charger and go. Couldn't be happier.
